Michelle & Scott Mathis joined Coastal Angler Magazine _ Citrus • Hernando • Pasco Edition with the intent of introducing Florida’s Nature Coast to the rest of the State.   Scott grew up in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale and for 23 years, was a firefighter and paramedic in that area.  He has enjoyed fishing his whole life and has had a 100-Ton Master’s Lcense since 1984. On Scott’s days off from the fire department, he enjoyed fishing and diving on a professional and recreational level, with his two sons.
     
After a short career in medicine and being the mother of two daughters, Michelle became involved with sales and marketing in the professional golf industry.  From 1972-1984, Michelle was a resident of Citrus County and now appreciates the opportunity to once again work within that community.
 
Scott and Michelle now spend most of their free time enjoying Florida’s Nature Coast and all that it has to offer. View this month's Citrus • Hernando • Pasco magazine here.
