  Recreational licenses and permits for Florida residents and nonresidents are available at county tax collectors' offices. In addition, they are available from sub agents, such as sporting goods stores or other retailers selling hunting or fishing equipment.

• Purchasing your Florida Fishing license. You can purchase your Florida fishing license online if you're willing to pay a $2.25 + 2.5% surcharge. Alternatively, you may purchase your Florida fishing  license by calling 1-888-FISH-FLORIDA and pay a $3.25 + 2.5% surcharge. Licenses may be purchased without surcharge at a county tax collector's office or for a small fee at many Florida fishing stores.
