Bob Mondo - Born and raised in Chicago, Bob's love of boating and marine life began at the age of six when his dad would take him to Miami and explore marinas. The excitement and intrigue of charters coming and going, exotic fish being cleaned and the tenor and language of marine life became a dream and goal that lived within Bob while he built a printing business in Chicago. In 1979 he bought his first boat and his dreams and love of the water became reality. Since then, he has campaigned his J/105 sailboat including the Race to Mackinac three times and owned two Florida based charter fishing businesses.
 
After selling his business in 2007, Bob explored many different opportunities that would keep him busy while feeding his passion for fishing. In January Bob joined the Coastal Angler family. “Coastal Angler has the right business model, especially for these economic times. The benefits for both advertisers and readers are undeniable.” Further he adds, “I look forward to working within the communities we serve while promoting fishing and boating events, local organizations and products and ecological issues.”
 
Bob, his wife Kristin and two children are excited to relocate to Palm City where the family will fish, sail, dive and experience the Florida Straits and Bahamas. View this month's Palm Beach magazine here.
